You'd likely have to pay them, but I'm sure you could scrape up the money somewhere.
 
The one thing (besides everything) that grinds my gears about covid is this boosh about only having one entrance/exit open for stores. Like, wtf? Wouldn't you want all the ingress/egress open so you don't have to walk by the diseased that are coming out while you're going in? I don't understand the logic.

One of our grocery story chains has those two automatic door entrances on either side of the entrance and have only activated the one side. A few weeks ago I saw someone go to the other set of doors and just pulled it open and went in that way.

Take that society!

That must be an individual store thing, or something.
I had to do a lot of reading to get stuff prepared for the DoJang to reopen, and there was specific guidance about how if you have more than one entrance, people should come in one door and go out the other, since that means people aren't passing each other in the doorways, so can more easily keep their distance.
 
(Also seems like streamlining traffic through a single entrance/exit is the exact opposite way to cut down on a crowd)

That's what Walmart does around here and those attendants take that job waaaayyyyy too seriously. But then again they're Walmart employees so letting so little power go to their heads is part of the job.

All the idiotic grocery stores in my area have at least two entrances/exits. The keep one closed and make people go in and out of the same goddamn door. It makes zero sense! The one store closest to me (Lucky) has three doors. One to enter on the left, one to exit on the left and one on the right for both. During regular times, they close one side after a certain hour (the one by the alcohol to curb grab & go thieves, and I get that) but right now, they have all but the one closed. I just don't understand it. Lunardi's has three and they only use one. Nob Hill has 2 and they only use one. Pisses me right the fuck off.

No joke, a naked dude just drove thru the doors of our grocery store, smashed up all the registers but two, drove all the way down an aisle...got out and fled next door and asked the autozone employee if he could see him. Nobody hurt, unbelievably.

There's video of the immediate aftermath and fuggin Montanans are still shopping, standing in line at the two remaining registers. Mawfk is seen pushing his cart through the wreckage en shit.😄
