Winning division doesn’t mean you deserve to make playoff. Northwestern best win is #16 Iowa and have the terrible loss to Michigan State. Northwestern has ONE win vs a team with a winning record. Lol at comparing to Clemson, Clemson has better win and a much better loss.
 
Northwestern isn't even western with respect to the Chicago area.

I've never been to Evanston. But have been to Chicago several times for work/conferences. from my rely you could probably tell I'm not really a fan of the place.

Really depends on where you go. Most of the area north of downtown is fine, the two mile or so radius around Wrigley is a pretty cool area. I liked living on the northside right by the lake.

Just stay the fuck out of the south/southwest side.

yeah, I know I'm in the minority on this one. Anytime I say I dislike Chicago, people just look at me like I crazy and tell me how much they love it.

Of course having lived there you can tell even in those areas where there are safe places. For example, our greatest ever president Obama lived in Hyde Park where the University of Chicago is located.

On the far south side you have strong home ownership.

9-1 >>5-1. Northwestern doesn’t have any stronger schedule than Clemson. Clemson Also destroyed #10 Miami and lost in OT to #2 Notre Dame and generally destroyed most opponents. Northwestern has a lot of close games outside of Maryland game to open season, one good win and a horrible loss. Northwestern would have zero chance at at 8 team playoff unless beat Ohio State in championship game.

Should've said much of that area. Hyde Park might be one of the city's nicest areas

There's also where the world famous Museum of Science and Industry is and where that captured German U-boat, U-505 is located.

That was my favorite exhibit as a kid. You could actually walk through the thing and touch some of the equipment. Cramped as hell.

Nowadays they charge you to even get near it.

Northwestern knocked off the higher ranked Wisconsin at the time.

And 3 of Clemson's 9 "wins" were against the cream puffs I noted above.

Lol. Who cares what they were when played, it’s about where they are now, which is unranked. Wisconsin hasnt done anything this year, they’ve beat Illinois and Michigan.

CFP which is what matters, they are unranked. Northwestern still isn’t close to a top 8 team. They have a bad loss To 2-4 Michigan State. They have a great defense but their offense isn’t good Enough.

See post #7618 and reread it. After Ohio State Beats Northwestern by at least 2 TDs, Northwestern will drop even further.
