I know some people really like the snow and if that's your thing, more power to ya.

me? I'd be just as happy to never see snow again (even in pictures). It was one of the big reasons we remained in San Diego when I finished with the Navy

It's pretty manageable where I am. We really don't get slammed every winter like upstate NY, or New England. We get a big snow every couple of years followed by several years with hardly any

Beyond the fact they've been together for, gawd, I don't know how many years ... a long time, at least at this point, I'm just viewing it as a little game she's playing, and of all the little games she could play, fucking around with people over pronouns is pretty harmless.
That view could change depending on how things unfold, if she really makes a big deal out of it, etc ...

Mental disorders are a rough thing. The people who commit suicide typically have thought about it for a long time, and what we might consider insensitivity over leaving family members in the lurch for their expenses or the horror at finding them, is massively overridden by feelings of pain. It's not so much that it's irrational, just they have a mental state that prioritizes ending that pain over nearly everything else.

Family members and friends shouldn't think of it as some sort of insult. They should instead encourage them to seek treatment and make a positive change in their lives.
