Walked with the granddaughter through a good chunk of the neighborhood.

Kid made out like a bandit. Trick or treating seemed close to normal.

But boy are my feet sore.

We had 3 groups of 3-4 kids each. That is an all time record low and it's not close. That includes when the neighborhood was brand new and not all of the houses were even occupied yet.

We usually have very little, if any, candy left. This year, we've got a ton.

Good thing I bought the kind we like. lol

We’re in a brand new housing development that’s only about 1/4 completed (ours just happened to be one of the first finished). We had zero trick or treaters. I’ve never seen that before.
 
I didn't have anyone come to my door... then again, I didn't turn on my lights, either.
 
And FML. Any other year, and I'd be over the moon for her, but my daughter just made the Elite 1 team at her club.... that's a lot of expense when parents won't even be allowed in to watch. Fucking bullshit.
