That show is fantastic with the exception of Season 4 which was OK but lackluster.

Benedict Cumberbatch tends to bother me, which is dumb, since I've only seen him in one thing, at least that I can recall, and he was just fine in it.

If you're a fan of the stories, you will really enjoy all the references. And Martin Freeman is awesome as Watson. Cumberbatch is a complete SOB

The reason I consider the fact I have an issue with him really dumb is because it has nothing to do with his acting.
It's that there was this period of time when it seemed like everything I saw was, "oh, Benedict Cumberbatch, he's sooooooooo dreamy."
I realize what people consider attractive varies from person to person, but him?
While it wasn't as extreme and certainly didn't go on for as long, imo, he's even less attractive than Tom Cruise, and I never got the swooning over him, either.

Huh, did not know that it was a tweener...I think there are only 3 or 4 episodes per season since they are all so long, but other than that I don't really pay attention. The kids usually have it cued up before I can see any synopsis or headers or anything else.
