Reason #232 why I say as little as possible during training sessions.

In other words, they were framed.

In 2015 I did a 90-day consulting thing for an Amazon fulfillment center. I made the mistake of calling a female coworker "gal" and the shit hit the fan.

That is fucked up.

I don't think this is the first time that the trainer got all upset about employees not being 100% on board with their way of thinking. My boss made what he thought was an innocuous comment to this same person a while back, and they complained to HR about it. One of those hallway statements, wasn't even in a training session.

If I'm ever asked to participate in this training, I know I'd be a target. Straight white male in a management position, in an industry that is dominated by women, POC's, and other perfectly normal non-straight white males

Yeah, I know. And I love a Porsche. My cousin had one for a bit a few years ago and I was not in love with the body style. Maybe it's because I love the 911 so much that an elongated version grossed me out.
