I don't quite know what that is....
but I could go for a nice piece of warm pecan pie, with melty vanilla ice cream.
I don't know what either of those mean.
How low? I think they’re usually fairly expensive here. Saw a recipe for pecan turtles... maybe I should make some. I like them in chocolate chip or oatmeal cookies, too.
This talk of pecans is making me want to make either a Derby Pie or some bourbon balls.
Bourbon balls I could get with....Derby Pie is a pie that was originally made for the Kentucky Derby. The best way to describe it is similar to a pecan pie, but with the addition of chocolate chips.
Bourbon balls are a kind of candy made with crushed pecans, 'nilla wafers, cocoa powder, 4x sugar, and bourbon.
They are both things with which anyone from Kentucky would be familiar, but sometimes I forget they're pretty specifically Kentucky items, and most people from outside Kentucky have no reason to know what the hell they are.
Well you don't talk like a rich and handsome man.You two don't talk like thin women.
Pecan pie I've had occasionally but it is too rich for me. Not very many desserts I'll say that about.Bourbon balls I could get with....
That derby pie sounds a little to rich for me...
I've never had it, but it looks too sweet. What's beneath all the pecans? Like between them and the crust?Pecan pie I've had occasionally but it is too rich for me. Not very many desserts I'll say that about.
Corn syrup and brown sugar mostly.I've never had it, but it looks too sweet. What's beneath all the pecans? Like between them and the crust?

Corn syrup and brown sugar mostly.
It's like eating syrup jello.

Doesn't sound like a good time.
Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, are the only acceptable desserts.
Which was better, the apple pie or @Winged_Wheel88 sister ?

Aw shucks!
There's not a kernel of truth in that.
