I ate a 16 ounce ribeye, a pheasant and a bunch of dressing topped with giblet gravy.

We cooked. We usually eat at 1 for thanksgiving, but my daughter had to work today, so we waited until 5. It about killed me.

OK @moxie I think I found the cookware imma get.

I kind of narrowed it down to Calphalon's premiere hard anodized stackable saucepans which would have been like $130 for two of them.....but I just saw the whole set of 10 of that line for $240+tax from BBB with their black friday sale and a 20% coupon.

I'm actually going to go with some of those JA Henkles knives you suggested....but i'm going to cheap out and get the cheaper non-german made ones. $80 on sale right now is more in my price range for a set of knives.

@Mondo How are you and your wife? My brother lost his taste and has a cough, waiting on results now. Guys at his work scoffed at taking any precautions.
