What a week last one was. Spent all fucking week getting the house ready for my daughter 18th/grad party. Had about 50 to 60 people over Saturday. 115 to 118 all week and weekend. Spent half of yesterday tearing down and returning rental chairs and tables.

Still ding shit like cleaning the pool filters, and cleaning up. The wife wants to do a big ass 4th of July party now too. Fucking kill me.

The fucked part, is everyone that came is like family. Call it our tribe. I would love to sit and talk to all of them for more than 3.5 minutes, before being yelled at by some one from across the yard. I have tell all of them that hopefully we can actually hang out some time, but on those days, you never get quality time with anyone.

Flip the script. Give HER a honey do list for the party prep and aftermath. Be extremely detailed and tell her that if she wants that party, she needs to make it happen.

Funny thing happened today. Had to send the Mazda in for service and they said 4 hours. Shit. So I hopped on a couple of express buses and made a side trip to downtown Seattle. On the bus to Seattle, I noticed someone had dropped quite a few coins under the seat in front of me, so I said, shit, free money! While I was scooping up the coins, a dude came up to me and handed me a $10 bill and said, bless you, here's some money for a meal. I laughed and thanked him, but I kept the money. #WINNING!
