Actually, he texted me a couple weeks ago to say hi & stuff then I texted him on his birfday. That should be good for a few months.
 
@ukfanfrombirth(cali cat) how're your skies? Mine seem to have that hazy orange tint and a smell of smoke in the air. Dunno where my nearest fire is, but it must be close by.

They aren't as bad as I thought they would be today, but they aren't great.
Today was a day where the forecast said smoke from fires up north would be brought into the Bay Area on the winds.
Hopefully, that's what is happening, and it isn't some new, closer fire.

It freakin rained here today. Of course it was SoCal “rain” meaning it misted/drizzled just enough to wet the ground, but still. WTF?

Yeah... Nothing like a bit of "Tortie-TUDE" to start the day off!! :dhd:

Part of me wants to, but I don't think I'll get another Tortie, though. She was one-of-a-kind and I don't think I'd adjust to another one too well. I'll just get a one or 2 year old from our local "no-kill" shelter and give him/her a great home, in my MonaLisa's memory. :nod:
