I can't cut them off! Someone told me that they basically have to eat every ten minutes because of the amount of energy they expend! I was thinking of getting another feeder and hanging it under the patio umbrella so they have some protection from the elements. I also see him eating from the fuchsias

Well, he has to stick his tongue deep into the fuschsia to get all of that goodness again and again and again. Then he has to go to another fuschsia and do the same, and another one, and another one. Then, back to your feeder.

Tried feeding him an apple today but he's not going for it. But he does let me put my hand about a foot away from him while he's sitting and eating.
