Best concert ever last night. Get to the parking lot and first thing we find is an old hippie selling shrooms, and that made the whole thing a great experience.

Never knew just how much hippies, especially young hippies like bluegrass. They ate up Billy Strings.

But every band was on point, and even Willie was far better than I expected. I mean, you really have to emphasize the Family part of Willie Nelson and Family these days, but for a dude nearly 90, he can still play and sing pretty good and can work a crowd still.

An interesting group of people. Seemed half the crowd was hippies, the other half redneck.
 
Went to dinner last night at this place called Delilah in the Encore. Holy fuck it was amazing.

Then went to watch Nate Bargatze do Stand up, and he and his openers were really good. Felt like I did a bunch of situps when I left.

I don't know about young hippies, but, yeah, bluegrass has always been popular among that group - especially deadheads.
Jerry Garcia was in a bluegrass band with Peter Rowan called Old and In the Way.
Bela Fleck and Flecktones opened for Grateful Dead (along with Bonnie Raitt) one New Year's Eve show.
