Never really understood why anyone has em'? They're poisonous af.
If I had some land I wanted to block off, and was along a road, it's cheaper than fencing, and only gets stronger over time. Mostly to keep people out, and privacy. Other than that..... Never!

We have them in the median of a lot of highways and multi-lane roadways. I suppose it's better than looking at miles of a concrete median :noidea:

I got too many computers and legacy hard drives from older computers I've salvaged.

Right now I've got 2 laptops, 2 desktops, and a Nexus 7 tablet from 2013. Then I've got 5 external HDDs for backups.

I've got 200+ CDs, DVDs with backed up data and even 200+ if not more 3.5 1.44 MG floppy disk drives with stuff going back to 1992.
Good news. The 3.5 floppy disk drives from 1992 still work and produce data!

I can't let it go.

I'll convert one of the older desktops to a Linux machine.

Oh, did I mention the thumb drives and the sim card/fingernail drives from the phones I had?

Fuck you all. I don't care.
good for you man!! keep those 60GB HDD's layin around!! you plug in your 20 HDD's and have your whopping 1.2 TB of data at your fingertips!!! (or you can get with the times and get 1 drive and have 10x the storage available)

lol at the CD's too those things have a life span of 5-10 years for retaining usable data before they are useless lolol

Third opinion is to not replace the whole damn HVAC unit.

Brah said the furnace doesn't need to be replaced and will fix the AC for only a thousand bucks.

My wife planted oleander and when she decided she didn't want them anymore, I worked my ass off to cut them down and dig up the stumps. Not interested in ever having them again.

They seem to be really popular out here, and I've never understood it.

I mean, used the way @moxie describes, they're fine - better than concrete medians, pretty enough when they bloom (at least for a highway), don't really need watering, get huge, blah, blah. There's a big difference between something good for highway medians and something good for the yard.
Even if they weren't poisonous af (I swear I got sick once after spending time pruning them and cleaning up everything I cut)- every part of the plant - they just aren't pretty enough to merit what a pain they are to deal with.
I'm psyched about creating a new and beautiful area over there (I have a bunch of different varieties of fuchsia, both miniature and regular sized, most of which I've propagated from other plants, that will do perfectly in that area).

I've got 2 1.0 Terabyte drives.

I also have Google cloud storage, Microsoft cloud storage, Norton cloud storage and Firefox cloud storage.

I don't want to lose any of my stuff. No, I'm not overcautious. You are imagining things.
