@gobigred I have a problem other than my feet now...

My youngest knows a kid where they are on the same Soccer and swim team and they are in the same summer camp right now.

The parents are nice and friendly and we get along well. They just have one thing about them that I can't over look....

Inexcusable

Meh, it isn't like certain parts of the Bay Area don't regularly go into the triple digits.
Some are predicted to do just that starting tomorrow or the next day.
We just have microclimates here, and when they kick in, some areas can be in the 100's, and others can be in the 60's/70's, even though they're only 10 minutes apart.

It's 84 over here but the humidity seems close to 100%

I found a vinyl record store near the house, went and picked up 3 LP's today. Tons of great labels there, but pricey

Now I'm jamming out on my head phones like it's 1979

I'm sure you're enjoying the crackle, crackle, crackle, pop from the old vinyl.

I am, it's a part of the charm of vinyl. Brings back some painful memories

I still have a box of old vinyl albums at the family home in Chicago. Went to cassettes mostly afterwards.
Between my parents, siblings, and myself, we used to have quite a collection of 45s and albums. But tragic things have happened to them over the years.

Cassettes were no better. the tapes in them wore out and snapped after a while, or got twisted and stripped.

I've gone thru every medium, at a nauseating pace. Have had vinyl that I've toted around since the 80's...(My wife sold an OG Thriller album of mine fer like 2 bucks:facepalm: ) Tapes?...boxes of em'...CD's? Boxes and boxes. Digital? An ungodly amount of music. Shit I haven't even listened to yet. External drives on top of external drives.

I have owned so many albums, MULTIPLE times, it hurts. Certain albums are jinxed, and I've bought multiple times in every respective media form.

Note: When I say "album", it's the go-to for every medium. I could be referring to tapes, cds....they're all called albums goddamnit.
