I actually liked San Diego better than OC, but I just couldn't take the uber lib cesspool Cali has become. Yeah, weather is generally nice if you can avoid the Santa Ana Winds when they show up. And the gridlock trying to get around is WONKERS... :twitch:

AND the water spigots are gonna dry up relatively soon for you all anyways! :heh:

@moxie I highly recommend a fully articulating mount, it makes cable management much easier.

I don't think any of these are the same as mine (pretty sure mines heavier duty and holds more weight than these) but I use a mount like this for my 85"

Ha I put the lights behind the painting on red white and blue for the holidays and have them chasing. It looks kinda purple in that picture but too lazy to turn on lights en sech

It’s 75” and the innerneps says it’s…33kg. Fuck! What does that even mean? I do know it has a vesa thing of 300x300 so I’m not entirely retarded.
And I’m not putting this up myself, I do have some friends to help (that have already put 3 up in their respective homes without incident). But I’ve been putting it off for too long and just need to get it done. Fuggin giant ass box has been sitting in my living room for nearly 2 months!

Oof. Okay so yea make sure the mount exceeds (2.2x33)lbs something like 72 so a 100+ rating and heavy duty looking and that it supports at least 300x300 and you will be good. You don't "need" the fully articulating one like I suggest it just makes things a heck of a lot easier for a tv that size if you ever need t get behind it for new cable or whatever. I hated keeping my box for the 30 days they told me to keep it just in case they gotta replace it in that time frame. So I know your pain 😂

My friends recommended ones similar to what you recommended. I was just concerned because the Sony ones (tv is a Sony) are $350 and all the ones on Amazon are half that and I think the same for the one at Costco. Am I getting what I pay for or is Sony just being Sony and jacking their shit up because of the name?

Sony is jacking the price up.

Mine was probably around 100 bucks and is heavy duty af. Like the mount itself weighs over 50lbs and I feel like I could jump on it all day.

Reminds me of when my brother bought monster cables for 4x the price back in the day and they ended up with worse (actually visible in picture) interference from everything else. More money doesn't mean more better 😜

I can only remember it getting to single digits here once, and that was when that polar vortex came through in like 2013.

Light jacket weather is my favorite weather. I’m most comfortable when it’s 50 degrees outside
