This is true. I had to get up early on the 4th of July holiday because that was the real cut off day and I wouldn't have gotten paid if I submitted after 10. Or 11. Or noon. Can't remember what it is, but I was up before 8 ON A HOLIDAY MONDAY!!! to submit that stupid summabech. Ugh. So annoying.

WTF!!!! I remember that at least 3 of us reminded you about the time card on Friday, July 1, and you still almost missed getting it in?

Says he's not gay, then goes on to describe in detail his four hibiscus plants
My wife's hibiscus plants, and they are neat. Nowhere near the level of gay of drinking them in a tea. The worst part is only one other person has suggested making a tea from it and you don't want to be lumped in with her nutjob ass (my sister is insane)

Just got an email that my co-worker's husband passed away unexpectedly today. No details on cause of death. I can't imagine that he was out of his 40's (she's probably mid 40 or younger). What a real goddamn bummer.

No…but we have a bunch in the complex and yes..

They are freaking awesome. My favorite is a bright yellow one but I also like the peachy one. I just saw one this year that has smaller lavender-colored flowers. They’re all really pretty but the entire plant also gets very big and I only have a tiny patio.
You could get some like we have, I'll take pictures if they are feeling photogenic later all ours are in like 24" pots

My patio is small, bruh. I'm turning into the plant lady instead of the cat lady. I already have 2 pots of dahlias (maybe 16"? I'll measure later), a wall planter with 7 shelves (each has a pot of herbs on it), an aloe vera plant, some lavender, a hanging pot of strawberries, a fuchsia I need to replace, some other cal-a-something flowers, a low pot of succulents and some other shit I need to get into the rail planters - basil, thai basil, mint and jalapeños (I have 9 little baby peppers on it!!). Oh, and a pot of cilantro, but that's going to stay where it is because the dog eats it so now I can't. And I threw a handful of poppy seeds outside. They had tiny little sprouts coming up, but now they're all shriveled up. I blame the asshole squirrels.

The best tea is made from angel trumpets. The real “take a trip and never leave the farm”

Heh heh...just subjected my kids to me singing Desperado and Take it to the Limit, back to back

Wasn’t there an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies where granny thought Mrs. Drysdale’s hibiscus problems meant Mrs. Drysdale was having a gynecological problem?

-1 for being a millennial and watching Beverly Hillbillies.

-10 for remembering parts of particular episodes and asking other people if they also remembered them.

My grandma worked at my elementary school. I stayed at my grandparents every day after school until my mom got off work. I watched a lot of old tv shows.

Wasn't yer Grammy still in her early 30s when you were in elementary school?

My maternal grandma was 36 when I was born. My paternal grandma just turned 78, she was in her 50’s while I was in elementary school.

I also have a step grandma that I consider to be a real grandma, she’s a couple years older than my maternal grandma.

The most intersting part is that you have 3 Grandmas but only one Grandpa. :dhd:
