It's....truly something. I get the messaging around body positivity, loving the skin you're in and that sometimes it's healthier to put on a few pounds than the inverse.

But yeah, telling people (especially kids) morbid obesity is fine and dandy and we all need to think it's just so beautiful is crossing the Rubicon.
There’s also the weird dichotomy where we have to accept them for their fatness, but they can’t accept a person who isn’t attracted to said fatness. Isn’t that person living their authentic self as well?

I don't know, but I do know anyone who doesn't think her morbid obesity isn't the most beautiful thing ever is like a total hater and literally worse than Hitler.

Wait.
So, is Post Malone some fat chick who gets pissed if you don't say she's beautiful,
Or a guy with face tattoos who may or may not like dudes?

Yes, this!!!

It's great if girls can grow up not feeling like they have to be at least borderline anorexic to not feel like they're too fat,
But what seems to be happening now is the pendulum swinging way too far the other way.
Too thin and too fat are both unhealthy, and this whole "there's nothing wrong with being overweight," seems to be taking hold with people to the point a lot of people are just gaining weight and not caring.

It gets back to what I was bitching about a month or so ago when I was looking for clothes, they had some reasonably-sized women pictured (thin, but in shape), and then all of a sudden - BAM - fat chick in leggings. I'm sorry, no, I don't want to see that shit, and if you're trying to market to big Bertha, big Bertha can have her own special place. Do not subject me to pictures of women with their nasty, flabby guts hanging out over their waistbands!!!

If that makes me evil, fuck it, I've been called a lot worse for less.

I was watching TV the other day and a Target ad came on where they were showing that they sold swimwear for big gals. I guess that’s a key demographic they’re trying to pull from Walmart.

Listen, bud- I get junk emails from Self magazine. Those fat fuckers will make lizzo look like a tiny baby hippo. Don’t test me, son.

There are GIFS of these heifers in spandex & crop tops, defying the laws of physics, jiggling and oozing all over the place.
Sounds disgusting

There’s maybe one female in that ad that could be considered “normal” looking. Lefty TV has not only started a war on attractive people, but even average people are rare on TV now.

Walking around, you’ll naturally see most people are 4-6s. It makes sense to not want TV to be all 8-10s. Now on TV you’ll see a 5 mixed in with a bunch of zeroes and it’s “the new normal”

Fortunately, I watch VERY little TV these days...
