I am heading to Kroger to buy groceries. Unless something unexpected comes up, I’m not going to tip whomever bags my groceries.
All we have anymore since the BIG FLU is self service anyway, sooooo... Gotta bag everything myself.

But I DO "tip myself" for bagging my groceries and go hang out at the waterfront patios after shopping! Win Win!!

:pop2::martini:

Devil’s Advocate here: Is the pickup person doing anything different from the people who staff the drive-through?
Depending on the place it actually can. Servers do a surprising amount of food and drink prep (granted this changes from place to place but it can definitely be more than just throwing shit in a bag and filling a cup).

Now I still say if some of those differences is enough to warrant any kind of tip is in the eyes of the beholder (I never order takeout from sit down restaurants FWIW), but between that and the wage differences I think its more than fair to want to give maybe a couple bucks to a server you recognize if you're doing takeout vs. fast food.

Broke down and bought a new raft trailer.

It's sick. Ratchet pully, roller bar, tilt option...

Don't ask about my old ass POS trailer predecessor.

I do realize that, but you feel the need to supplement one and not the other. Why is that?
Going to the "fast food" joints is like "one & done" unlike being in a restaurant environment where your "experience" will probably be MUCH better... :nod:

I’m talking take out, not a sit-down meal where they take your order, bring you drinks, etc. It’s literally the difference between drive through and walking into the restaurant to get the food you’re going to eat at home. One you tip and one you don’t. Why?

whar the computer dorks that can tell me how to watch the bears preseason game tomorrow?
