Came out to $165 & that included rod rental, bait & tackle, gunny sack (?), crab trap stamp and they’ll clean your catch for you afterward. Gotta be there at about 5:45am for a 6:30am departure, 2:30pm return. I’ll dress like I did for whale watching: layers, layers and more layers! I never fully defrosted but I was also pretty inactive. Hopefully I’ll work up a sweat by reeling in my limit on this tripThat's about a $200 trip. It's very very cold in the morning, hotter in the afternoon, so be prepared. You could go from winter coat and sweater in the morning to just a T-shirt in the afternoon. Hope you have a good time.
I used to go albacore fishing off of Morro Bay in the North and off San Diego in the South. Nothing like saltwater fishing.
Throw some dramamine in there just in caseOh. And I’m bringing a SnackleBox.

I thought about that (and ginger pills or someshit?) but do you think I’ll need it if I haven’t gotten seasick before?Throw some dramamine in there just in case![]()

This.I've been on the Pacific dozens of times. Choppy water will fuck you up. Take dramamine or its equivalent. And take a sandwich, snacks and water.
The boat is going to be either a 63ft or 55ft. Don’t recall how big the whale watching one was. I’ve also done a sailboat type cruise in the SF bay and was fine, but y’all are right…better safe than sorry! This.
The smaller the boat, the worse it is too.
I went on a Caribbean cruise back in the 90's, and i never even noticed anything, until one stormy day. HOLEE FUCK. I was sicker than fuck. The fucking pool was sloshing to one side, shooting 20/30 feet into the air, coming straight back down into the pool and going to the other side and back into the air like some fucked up maritime seesaw.
They better fucking win!I just passed on a boys fishing trip to Mexico, cuz I'm going to see the Bears/Packers game on the same date.
Ima tad disappointed, but the Packers sucking bawls alleviates the pain a bit.![]()
