Blackbird singing in the dead of night

Camped and floated new water this last weekend. Slayed em' fishin'. Caught like 20, with a few really nice ones. My daughter caught 3 off the raft(first time catching from the boat). So fucking funny...the first lil' guy she caught she was so excited that she reeled that bastard all the way in to the top eyelet. It was so tiny that it was just sticking straight out from the tip. :pound:

What really sucks is you're still going to have to waste your time dealing with the ticket - contesting it.
Contesting it doesn't actually seem like it'll be that tough because it's all over mail. Just need to make a copy of the registration and mail it back to them.

If there's a court date, don't miss it. Show up to make sure they got it right.

You find any lead weights in those fish?

I hope it ends up being that simple for you, but don't be surprised if the response is something along the lines of "your registration may have been current, but the ticket is for something on your license plate not being current, not your registration being expired."

I once got a ticket for an expired tag on my license plate. My registration was current, and I tried to contest the ticket by proving my registration was current. It's been long enough ago I don't remember the exact response, but it was something like what I put above. I was still expected to pay the ticket, since even though I could prove my regitration had been paid on time, I couldn't prove at the moment the ticket was given, the tags on my plate were current.

See here's the thing with a PA plate is that there hasn't been tags on them in years. Guarantee the dead end job loser who wrote the ticket is too stupid to understand that, especially since the plate itself is definitely still update.

The thing I don't get is I could see an idiot writing a ticket for there being no tag at all not getting that it's different, but rather the fact that they said it expired years before it was even issued.

Hope you have a Kinkos near by

Well, if you got the ticket in Pennsylvania, maybe it will be as easy as proving your registration is up to date.
If you got it in Illinois, good luck.

Maaan, fuck that. I’d want to haul that meter fuckface into court and have them explain themselves! Then sue them in civil court for wasting my goddamn motherfucking time after I get the judge to allow me to slap them in the face for being a fucking moron.

In a perfect world :sigh:
