Did you name the cat or was that already done? If you named it, was it named after the lioness in the Born Free, Living Free series?

You're gonna like this...The shelter that I got Darbie from works with a local Vet, so you get a free checkup on any pet you adopt.

Darbie had his appointment yesterday.

We walk in and the whole staff is at the front desk and they ask "Is this Darbie?" I said "Yes".

They ask "He's the one with the little fangs, right?" I said "Yes".

They all start telling me how happy they are for him, they were really cheering for him to get a home, etc.. They love his little fangs so much, a couple of their computers had him as their screensaver. lol

No... The staff at the shelter says that Elsa was her name when she was "surrendered" there. Evidently she was named after the character in the animated movie 'Frozen'. That was fine by me... NO need to change her name. :biggrin:

Well, I'm alive after surviving two open-bar events in a week's time. Thankfully the next one isn't until Dec 8

Nah, one was a fundraiser that essentially paid for itself. The other was an employee recognition event that is underwritten by the board.

Team member #3: I got this same request directly from the auditor the other day and I already responded
Me: Great!
VP: So TM#3, what did you respond with?
TM3: I sent the demographics and status changes, but I don't have access to intakes so I didn't send that. TM2 has the intakes stuff.
Me and VP at the same time: Why didn't you ask team member #2 to assist you with the intake docs? You sent incomplete data and you're telling us "I already responded?"
TM3: Well, I responded with what I could.
VP: huuuuUUUUUUUU!!!! Get your team in order!! This is an audit!
