Lulz… 45 people on a group call right now and someone is chomping away on an almond biscotti, not realizing they aren’t on mute. :redface:

Nobody said anything though, so maybe it wasn’t as loud as it is in my head.

Still amazed at the lack of etiquette on zooms/teams/regular phone calls. Every single one is tainted with somebody yelling at a family member because "I'm on a call right now!!!"

And they never seem to realize what they're doing; meeting hosts are all "Dolores! Dolores you need to mute yourself!" and Dolores keep goin' "I TOLD you, I'm on a call right now, can we deal with this later?!?"

When I'm moderating, I don't play. You make too much noise, you're getting muted and you won't come off it until you ask me for permission.
 
If there's a hell I'm going to straight to it for giggling every time a friend from grad school who's Taiwanese posts on social media.

I’m that guy half of the time because my fucking wife and kids can’t stay out of the office. I at least mute myself when I can, but a lot of the time I need to speak in these calls. It’s a weekly argument in my household.
