Had parent teacher conference tonight.
Proud papa here. Both killing it academically, but evening cooler was that both teachers beamed about how good of people they are. Both used the words, "friendly, helpful, respectful and positive."
Always catches me off guard when they speak glowingly of them.

My grandma is worried to death about me getting on a plane tomorrow.
Called me this morning and asked if I would drive if my soon to be 80 year old grandpa would ride with me. I’d love that, but tickets are paid for and a 20 hour ride probably wouldn’t agree with my grandpa. I can guarantee you she didn’t ask my grandpa before volunteering him too.
I love her to death, sweet woman, but she has some irrational fears when it comes to her family. She once watched some nature show about bull sharks swimming up rivers and told us she didn’t want us swimming in the Etowah anymore. Had to tell her there were at least 3 dams between where we swim and the ocean

Was suppose to be my second day off from working out but with the possible rain tomorrow I wanted to get a quick five mile run in on the treadmill. God I hate that treadmill. Last day of work before a 4 day weekend. Hopefully my fantasy football team can get the w this week

I’m not thrilled to be flying myself, I like being in control, but it’s just too quick of a turnaround for that far of a drive. I’m really dreading the airport too

I hear ya, before I ever took a plane I was terrified of them, and I still don't exactly like airports.
It's nice to be able to stop when you want to stretch your legs or use a bathroom that's larger than a 3X3X5 box.
