I'm not big on edibles, and I always have canned pumpkin (for the cat, believe it, or not, it helps with hairballs, among other things).

Also it's always around this time of year I find myself thinking shut-ins may be on to something.
The thought of just ... avoiding all human interaction, even if only for a few days, is really tempting!

It's maybe the best cooking fat on the planet. The problem is that a goose renders like 3-4 pounds of the stuff. With a gas oven, I don't think I'd like to find out what would happen if I wasn't attentive to collecting it.

Party of 4 sounds about right. It's good to have family on Thanksgiving.

I'm hoping, now that kids get the entire week off from school for Thanksgiving (spoiled brats!), things will be a bit slower beginning today.

I was talking to one of my employees about that today. I don’t know where the people who are at the store this week generally get their food, but it’s clearly not from the grocery store. Bunch of people walking around aimlessly like they don’t know how food shopping works.
