Some people like other people yelling at them to do exercise. It's the whole basis for basic training in the military, as well as BDSM.

You all sure know how to waste some fucking money.

Get an exercise bike, or get a real bicycle and get out there and interact with real people, not bots.
And you shouldn't be so insecure so as to have to pay people to give you unwarranted compliments. Would any of those people stand to be around you otherwise?

I do not get Peleton.

Sure they would. I'm glad you're not at risk and healthy. I don't know what the rules are in your state. But there's nothing worse than greedy-ass people who are getting the vaccines out of fear, or worse- like it's some sort of treat. There are some who even are attempting to get one than one type of vaccine. It's like people who hoard masks, only worse.
Honestly, I don't want it. I'm not an anti-vaxxer, but I feel like I have a pretty good immune system. Despite, getting covid, I lucked out and didn't have bad symptoms, but I never get a flu shot and only get the common cold every couple of years or so. Can't remember the last time I got the real flu. But I like to travel and I have a feeling that muh freedoms to cross international borders will be severely restricted if I don't fall in line.

and orange....

but my comment was in reference to the antibodies.
They're saying that antibodies last for about 90 days... don't remember when he had the 'vid.

I've asked myself if there were not a limited supply of vaccine available, how quick would I seek to get it. I'm forced to admit, I too would probably drag my feet a bit, and really only get it if I had to get it for travel. Or if my wife nagged me.

It's pretty foreseeable that travel officials, educational institutions, and perhaps even medium-to-large size companies will be able to enforce a vaccination "passport" and mandate anyone within their control be able to prove they received a vaccine. We do something similar already, I suppose, with K-12 schools. The last I checked, no one's ever gotten pissy over someone failing to get a flu shot.

I initially didn't want it, either, and I still kinda don't, but when I weighed everything ... having to teach, wanting to see my step-father, etc ... it seemed like the best decision.

Everyone is going to decide what's best for themselves.
As much as I haven't minded staying home, I'm also ready to get back to some semblance of normal, so ...

And then the chick in that commercial is Skinny AF
Didn't she get dragged for being a privileged white lady or slave to her husband or something? I seem to remember some kind of controversy with that ad.

At least now we know what look @huskers1217 is going for.

Oh yeah, there was a lotta pushback about that spot.

Whatever peoples' motivation, getting more physical activity is always a good thing. It doesn't make much sense to me, either, but some people like being in a studio with a couple of dozen exercise bikes and a teacher. Pelaton is the same thing, just popular now because 99% of gyms are closed.

Beats people sitting at home doing bong hits and binge-watching Netflix crap.

Me: I like direct flights whenever possible
My travel guy: the only direct flight home is at 6:30AM on Saturday
Me: Are there other options?
Travel guy: I can re-route you through Detroit?
Me: I'll take the 6:30AM flight

I had wanted to wait until later, to see if there were going to be any hideous side effects, but we probably won't see those for years if ever. But I need to start traveling again, and being vaccinated will make that less of a hassle/concern. I will gladly carry a "you've been inoculated" passport if it helps me jump the line

ht she played roller derby. Did she give that up, or was this a turkey bas
