I thought Yetis were supposed to be bigger making them more resilient to colder conditions.

It would seem so, but compare the sources and availability of food/prey to sustain that bulk. The Sasquatches have much more food availability and diversity.

That would make sense; kinda like an arctic fox vs red fox.
 
Speaking of Yeti's. I really like their products in concept, but why are they all so clumsy & unwieldy? My thumb starts to hurt if I hold it too long unless it's super close to the base, then it's all off-balance. They should make narrower mugs but taller so they still have capacity.
