So let's get this right....

They look for big foot frequently enough to start a business revolving around the search.... Yet have obviously never found one.... And people are stupid enough to pay them to find something they've never found?

God damn, I thought people in Alabama were dumb.

Bellingham is 55 miles north of me. I could get there within an hour.

I might take them up sometime in late spring or early summer.

Relax. Its basically a guided nature hike.

LOFL

Dole: I saved 27 cents on deodorant, by spending 20 minutes couponing.

Also Dole: Here's $100 to show me bigfoot.

All the shit you post about pissing away money and you're willing to knowingly pay someone for a service they have zero chance of providing?

I don't know the trails out there. That is some really rugged and remote country. A guided tour makes sense.
I'll take ya out there for $50. lulz

A cultured fella like yourself should know how to read a topographical map.

That's the kind of country where even experienced hikers go missing. I'm not an experienced back country hiker.

Sure I can read a topo map, except it does not account for recent washouts, slides and other hazards.

Oh you fuckin puss. Bring a fucking sidearm iffin yer scared of mythical creatures.

Crossing or rerouting around hazards is part of backpacking.

I was going to bring a sidearm anyways, and bears, mountain lions, wolves and goats are not mythical creatures.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a backpacker.

One time, @Dole ver 2.0...a massive rock slide had wiped out the trail AND what appeared to be a possible avalanche. (It was early summer, but way up there) The snow was a foot or two deep, and under was all different sizes of rocks, with some big holes and ankle-busters. The only choices were to poke our way across, or peak a saddle that would've added a fuckton to an already long haul. (The topo map came into play here ;)

We went across. It was kinda scurreh.

I float my "backpacking" trips now. Best of both worlds. Get the backcountry solitude and accomplishment of backpacking, while being able to bring the kitchen sink, more akin to car-camping or rv'ing.

Can cover more ground, without ripping my feet off.

Q.E.D.

I could not have made a better case for a guided tour.
