Another reason to wait before getting anyone's covid vaccine:

Consider that all adverse events need to be reported, and the first wave of people being vaccinated includes, after the first responders of course, all the older, fatter, less well people who are more likely to suffer from blood clots already. Given the volume of vaccinations, this is pretty low and probably baseline (or maybe even better) for a population like the U.S.

Consider that all adverse events need to be reported,

But are they in fact all reported? Is there a firm legal requirement they have to be reported?

Also, are the 65 yo's dropping dead after a shot being properly categorized, or is the cause of death defaulted to "natural causes"?

I'll wait and see, thank you.

As for the first question- yes. If it’s a headache, the information is collected. Same if someone develops heart palpitations, flatulence or suicidal thoughts. Technically, though the vaccine is available to everyone, it was released under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and t clinical trial is not complete, but ongoing. If the participants report AEs to Moderna, Pfizer and J&J, they the FDA has the data as a matter of public record, by law.

As to your second question, I don’t know. State public health boards can assign (or not assign) a cause of death, based on their own criteria. While certain populations (pediatric, geriatric, those with allergies, etc.) were not included in the Phase 1/1a safety clinical trial, over-65s were. We would know if seniors were being killed directly by the vaccine. ...Unless you’re a believer in crazy conspiracies or something.

So noted.

I'll still wait and see.

Yeah, I hear we're supposed to be compassionate towards crazy folks.

So weird!!!

When I responded to this post of yours earlier, I could have sworn I included some text.

Are you editing my posts?!? :nonono:

Anywho, it said something like you really shouldn't mock Mofo like that.
He really doesn't take it well when strangers on the internet mock him or laugh at him.

Ohhhhh, I get it ... you edited my post because you were trying to show him compassion.
My bad. Carry on and edit away. ;)

I didn't edit it.

But now I wish I did because that would have been a great reason to give for doing it.

Yep... But I'm a NICE guy so I am letting the others beneath my "eligibility" grade to get theirs first.

I actually DO hope these so-called vaccines work out. But right now these are an equivalent of just a "flu shot", although a significant one.

For me, the definition of a "vaccine" is different than the one being over played out there right now. BUT, if it "floats yer boat" to get it, then go right ahead. I'm not one to criticize it. I'm not gonna right now.

Finally got my mandolin! I'd post a pic, but Hammer's restrictions make it impossible to share photos

ALWAYS neither confirm OR deny!! Works great for the US Navy (in regards to having nukes onboard or not).

Just sayin'... :headbanger:

Here's part of it

Nah, it's broken... I've been trying to play Battle of Evermore for the last half hour, and it doesn't sound anything like Zeppelin. Gonna see if I can return it

Oh, I was just bein' a smart ass.
I didn't want to admit I'd taken it out of my own post out of a spirit of compassion for the mentally ill.
But, hey, maybe you got a decent idea out of it. :heh:
