Been over a year now since I've had to deal with that.

Another positive for work from home full time.
 
@Camfantasy , old lady needs to buy a new cell phone. I'm trying to convince her to get a Pixel 4a, the kids are trying to get her to go iPhone

Did he, at any point, just start talking to you & wouldn't stfu?

If yes to both, pretty douchey. If not, I don't see the issue here.
