No. It would be ridiculous for MLB to schedule early games in a cold-weather town like Cleveland, so they had the forethought to choose an opponent with a more temperate climate, Detroit. . .

It's normally cold there it feels like on opening day

But that said it's been 60 and 70 every single fucking day for a week here in cincy until opening day.. and then will be 60 and 70 again on Saturday

Bizarre

Unpopular Opinion.

Opening Day is the most overrated thing in all of sports. There are 162 games! Today's games don't mean a damn thing.

I'll give this year's Opening Day credit. At least every team is playing.

How many years did we have Opening Day only for half the teams not play their first game until the next day?

HATE the early series games

Fucks with fantasy... makes two opening days...bleh

Or when Opening Day was just one game. Like in 2001. Opening Day was the Rangers at Toronto on a Sunday. Nobody else played. What was that shit?

I actually liked it when the Reds opened a day before the rest. Well, except their opponent. Nice tip of the hat to the first pro team.

Oh, yeah. Brewers score 3 in the bottom of the 9th then win it in the 10th. Great way to start the grind.
