I think he bulked up too much.. he got chased down from behind after having a 12 yard head start.. then fumbled the ball at the one yard line two plays later vs TCU. I like him and think he's a solid back but his stay here will be known for that and him dropping a wide open pass vs LSU in '19 early in the game. He also had some trouble with injuries but I think it's because they added so much weight on him.@Thiefery
Looks like USC just got Keontay Ingram from Texas out of the transfer portal. Any thoughts on him? Looks like he was a starter, then his carries dropped off significantly the following season.

I do wish him the best and SC is a great place for a fresh start.
he always has shown flashes of what he can do, unfortunately he just wasn't consistent here at Texas. His body should finally be healthy once again heading into spring practices. Just watch the alamo bowl vs Utah..kid flashed and hopefully it works out for him.. because I loved him coming out of HSGood to hear. Thanks. USC just lost Markese Stepp. Looks like he and Ingram are about the same size. I'm hoping this means that USC is going to look to run the ball more next year.

lol my man @Angry Red wishes his Huskers could underachieve like Texas..at least signing days are pretty cool

Man I'd love to have Texas recruiting rankings, but not necessarily the players. Texas high school football has too many Divas. It seems quite a few of them have reached their maximum athletic ability beyond gaining strength. Otherwise, Texas gets players every year that many schools want. I would love to have Texas current level of success. I have been humbled as a fanlol my man @Angry Red wishes his Huskers could underachieve like Texas..at least signing days are pretty cool
Is Markese Stepp worthy of being the lead back? I like his size and film, which is good for the B1G. A hard runner, but I wonder how long he stays healthy.
Did you realize it has been an entire generation since Nebraska was relevant in college football, but 3 generations of them being obsessed with Texas.Top 5 recruiting in the Big 12 since 2010

There's been a lot of talk about the top talent on the west coast leaving the PAC 12. Here are where the 4/5 star 2021 recruits from PAC 12 states (Plus Nevada) went.

While I think it's a bit overblown, it's not entirely inaccurate. It got really loud last season when USC finished with the 64th ranked recruiting class and couldn't seem to land many California recruits.
I'm a bit surprised that UCLA only landed 1 California recruit. I know most California recruits will pick USC over UCLA if they have the choice. But I would think they should be able to get more than the 5 Oregon got or at least the 2 that Michigan got.
For the PAC, it's always been about keeping the California recruits on the West Coast and in PAC-12 programs.
Chip Kelly has not had much luck on the recruiting trail at UCLA. It was well known that he didn’t enjoy recruiting while he was at Oregon
