he has me on iggy because he's a coward

so not really worried

Yea same here. Probably gonna do a garage sale next year honestly
Fuck that. I can't imagine spending the amount of time to set that up, man it, and talk to all the fucks that come in, for $300 or so. On a Saturday, no less.

Even if I did want to, our HOA doesn't allow them.

Hopefully my family does one at some point this year. Would be a great time to purge crap before moving again

Can someone help me understand why North and South Dakota needed to be two states

A lot of redundancy there

I'd take that deal all day (your side of it). There are about a dozen things I set aside that I could sell for at least $10 each... But is it worth it? Probably not
We sell a few things here and there, but if we don't expect to get at least $50 for it, we just put it out on the curb or donate it.

Can't wait until Little Guy gets a bit older, and the rest of the baby stuff can get the heave-ho. We did a yard sale a couple years ago, and pretty much took any offer that people made on things. Anything that didn't get bought went to Goodwill or Purple Heart. I'm just trying to get rid of crap I don't use. Hell, when the basement was being worked on and there was a dumpster in my back yard, I took some time to go through the garage and basement and junked a bunch of stuff I hadn't used and didn't see myself using anytime soon.
Best part about the last one aging....every time he hits a new stage we get to purge.

We usually make a whole day of it. Fire up the smoker, start drinking before lunch, etc. The last one we had at our house, our mailman said that the rest of the yard sales didn't look nearly as fun.

I think we made $20, don't even care though. Was $20 more than I would have gotten taking it to Goodwill.

Yeah, we've got a pack and play and a bunch of big 1-year-old-ish toys hanging out in the storage area. Once Little Guy outgrows all that, it's going to the curb or to a consignment store.

I've got no fucks left to give today. A client I've pretty much bent over backward for the last 8-9 months just passive aggressively lashed out at me because his divorce isn't done yet and his soon to be ex hasn't changed over the car payment yet. I have zero immediate control over either of those things. AND he called over the holiday weekend and I had the audacity to take the weekend off and didn't return his call until yesterday.

Fuck. Right. Off.

The worst part of my employment since Covid started is that most people have lost all sense of boundaries. I'll get a text on Saturday at 10am that says "I need to talk to you today." Unless it is an absolute emergency, no you don't. I'm certain your question about where your kid is going to school next fall can wait until Monday morning.

Man....we got our money out of that pack and play. Bought it almost 12 years ago now. Same for the crib, which I'm sure Coal will move out of soon. He already knows how to get out of it.

The fact you got 12 years out of a pack and play is impressive

The inconvenience of reading a dumb text message is worth 37 minutes of billing imo
