Well he has a $20M cap hit next season for TPA and a $24M cap hit in 2023, so he only really has a shot to play in TPA.

Lot's of rumors floating around these parts and 20mil is chump change for a good QB so that is not a deal breaker. He would obviously need Tampa to release (not likely) or trade him (more likely) for him to be able to go to SF and finish his career playing for his favorite childhood team.

We'll see what happens, he might really be done :noidea:
