That kid is NEVER in class. And he knocks out all of his work by noon and just screws around the rest of the day.

Around here, "virtual" is the equivalent of a real school day. I forget which platform she'd be on, but it's like 8-3 in front of the screen.

It's 2-3 hours, usually while the baby is napping, which beats the hell out of sitting in front of a tablet for 8 hours if we went virtual through the public school.

Today is our 30th anniversary. I want to go to dinner but the wife is not comfortable, she's been much more cautious than I have been. We may eat outside but it's fucking cold.

Most of the places around here that are doing outdoor seating have invested in the patio heaters. Won't be perfect, but should be warmer than, say, sitting at a park bench.
