Toosday's thread to exchange ideas, discuss odd personal beliefs, and insult each other

i choke myself daily, i like blood rushes.
Alright, I'll keep that in mind in case someone calls and asks for the best way to kill you.

Spee Dee just delivered a package to me for someone about 6 doors down..... swing and a miss. Hope it's an xbox!!!

Most of the places around here that are doing outdoor seating have invested in the patio heaters. Won't be perfect, but should be warmer than, say, sitting at a park bench.

Yeah this place isn't like that, they only have 2 tables outside. I want to help the guy out, his grand re-opening after being closed for structural damage was in March. Oops.

Ok this is weird. I got really dizzy while driving. Had to pull off the freeway... Trying to wait it out, cause I'm not sure what's happening

How far away from home are you? Anyone you can call to bring you home?

You serious with this? I can tell you the worst case for that exact same thing happening to an employee, but you won't like the outcome.

Most likely your allergies are acting up, though.

A lot of people don't know how and why the put-your-wet-phone-in-rice-overnight bit works. What happens is, while you sleep, little Chinese fairies come into your house, attracted by the rice, find your phone and fix it.
Probably don't want to eat that rice, chuck it.

FYI.....

Opening somebody else's mail is a felony. Grownups know this.

Pretty sure that only applies to USPS deliveries. If someone like Spee Dee, UPS, or FedEx delivers it wrong you are free to do whatever you want with it.

Probably about an hour. I'm supposed to be at our plant in WV tomorrow morning to run samples, though.

Yes... And I don't have allergies

Today is our 30th anniversary. I want to go to dinner but the wife is not comfortable, she's been much more cautious than I have been. We may eat outside but it's fucking cold.
Congrats man. That’s awesome.

the wife and I hit 28 in Dec.

MISTAKEN DELIVERY

If you notice an address and name on the package that is different from your own, this means that the package was meant for somebody else. In many cases, there will be similarities between the two--but there should be a clear difference.

When you receive a mistaken delivery, call customer service for the delivery company and explain the situation. Give them the tracking number on the package, as well as the name and address on the package if it's different from yours.

The company will come and pick up the product within a reasonable time frame. You shouldn’t be inconvenienced in any way--and you definitely shouldn’t be paying anything.

Above all, just be sure you don’t hang on to mistaken deliveries without contacting the company. These companies will likely be alerted by either the sender or their tracking system that the package was misdelivered. If you don’t take the initiative and contact them, they might show up at your door or call your number asking about the package.
