I am not sure that I would agree with this list, here would be mine:

1. Miami
2. USC Trojans
3. Georgia
4. Tennessee
5. Ohio State
6. Alabama
7. Auburn
8. Oklahoma
9. LSU
10. Texas

Well unless he is referring to Gamecocks, than South Carolina deserves #1.

South Carolina seems odd. Are they really a (game)cocky fan base?
 
Cockiest? Easily Miami...but when your team hasn't been relevant since 2003 you tend to project your insecurities
 
The lack of Texas being on this is laughable.
 
Big Game Boomer gets another, but the cockiest fanbases tend to be the fanbases of the best teams.

What has Michigan had reason to be cocky about? This isn't the 90's. Even after hammering Ohio State twice and winning back to back B1G titles -- We still don't have anything to be cocky about until we do something on the national stage.

Exactly. Michigan hasn’t had much to be cocky about for the last 20 years but hasn’t stopped many of the fans from acting as if they are Alabama.
