Bush would have been a cute back up if he was on the same team

your clemson guys wouldn't even crack the two deep between Bush and White if we really being honest here

Lol. Spiller/Davis played behind a much worse offense and put up insane numbers. Spiller was one of the most explosive players the game has seen at the college level. But never got the attention that Bush/White did because of who Clemson was at the time. Which is why its funny when people role their eyes at the "little ole Clemson" schtick that Dabo plays. Because there's a lot of validity to it.

Bush>Spiller

No CJ Spiller, No Todd Gurley. Huge misses on this list

I always thought Roger Craig was a good college RB, but I guess that had a lot to do with him becoming the first running back to rush for 1000 yds and receive for 1000 yds in the same season in the NFL.

His college rushing totals at Nebraska were only 2446 yds, but he spent his career behind Rozier and also split time with Jarvis Redwine and I.M. Hipp.

Makes one wonder where Craig would have ended up without Rozier on the same team.

Henry being outside the top 5 is wrong. Him being 33 is a fucking farce.

Alabama played 10 ranked teams in 2015 and he ran for almost 2300 yards and almost 30 TDs and carried an awful QB and just OK offensive line to a National Championship

1. Bo & Herschel

Everyone else.

You mean to tell me Lawrence Phillips doesn't even crack the top 100 running backs of the last 60 years?

Dumb list is dumb.

Good arguments except for the rankings part. They hand out rankings in the SEC like candy on Halloween.

100 GREAT Running Backs!

I saw 4 of the top 10 play in person (Sanders, Williams, Jackson and Bush) but only 2 of them in a college football game (Williams and Bush).

I saw #1 Barry Sanders in a Lions game vs. the Tampa Bay Bucs in the 1996 season opener @ Pontiac. He made a midfield cut that became a SC Highlight for a while.

I saw #4 Ricky Williams as a freshman in the 1995 Sugar Bowl vs. Virginia Tech. I don't remember him particularly from the game, but he was playing as a freshman on a really good SWC Championship team.

I saw #8 Bo Jackson play in a High School football game @ McAdory High School, in a baseball game for Auburn @ LSU and for the Royals in a MLB game. One of only two athletes I have seen play in High School, College and Pro (along with Tony Nathan).

I saw #10 Reggie Bush play for Southern California @ UCLA in 2004 and the Saints @ Bengals. He is the most exciting CFB player that I have ever seen in person.

I've seen plenty of the others play too, but that would be T.M.I.!

From the Iowa State point of view, I am happy to see Troy Davis at #41! He was unbelievable. Like the article said: he was a one man show, and they still could not stop him. I saw a few times in 1995 before I moved away. Fortunately, I came back to Ames for his best game in 1996 vs. Mizzou - when he ran for 378 yards in a 45-31 4th quarter come from behind win over the Tigers.

They also played that season a ranked Wisconsin who won 10 games. Also Michigan State and Clemson in CFP.

All 3 were in the top 25 defensively(Wisconsin#1) and In those 3 games he had 380 yds and 8 TDs
