Harrison, the guy whose biggest solo hit is a clear ripoff.
 
The fact that Sting isn't listed in the top 100 is fucking ridiculous. As a lyricist and a songwriter, that guy is absolutely gifted.

Dylan is brilliant, but #1 "songwriter" could be a stretch. So many great songwriters. He's the #1 lyricist, in my opinion.

Dylan at 1 is like Hendrix on top of a guitar list. Whatever, it’s fine, not as silly as a lot of the other spots.
 
Hal David and Burt Bacharach had an incredible amount of hit songs to their credit.
