The committee is revealing their top 16 seeds on Saturday. Here's my best guess as to what it will look like: overall seed in parentheses

South Regional:
1. Auburn (1)
2. Houston (8)
3. Kentucky (10)
4. Michigan (14)

Midwest Regional:
1. Alabama (2)
2. Texas A&M (7)
3. Purdue (9)
4. St. John's (15)

East Regional:
1. Duke (3)
2. Tennessee (5)
3. Kansas (11)
4. Ole Miss (13)

West Regional:
1. Florida (4)
2. Iowa State (6)
3. Wisconsin (12)

Missed on Kansas by having Ole Miss. Ole Miss apparently not even the next two in line.

We saw the SEC lose its spot as the top football conference the past 2 years.

They are a basketball conference now.

i know this won't happen but if the NCAAT does expand to 76, i would be up for filling those extra spots with conference regular season champions that didn't win their conference tournament.

last thing we need is high-major conference teams with a 17-16 record in the NCAAT.

Yes, I agree. Teams like Drake, George Mason and UC San Diego from this season would be a good example if they were to happen to lose in the conference tournament.
