tOSU fans ... come get your boy

If Kirby Smart truly learned from Nick Saban. Then he will have his fair share of calling out refs
He doesn’t though, not even when warranted like that 2017 NCG screw job, he never said a word that I remember. But the only thing that needed called out in the Peach Bowl was the ref calling that clearly clean hit targeting in the first place and wasting everyone’s time with a review

It is just humorous to hear someone mention anything about a coach bitching about the refs. That is exactly what they do. They do it before the game, they do it during the game, they do it after the game.

The question, as it relates to this thread, is do they do it in public and a month or months later?

I mean, he was directly asked about it and whether or not he agreed with the call. He coike have said, that was a month ago, I suppose

Here is what I posted above:

I would hope that my coach would respond with something like "penalties are part of the game. We had many chances to win the game and didn't. We will learn from a painful loss and move on. I like where the team is heading going into this coming season and we look forward to getting back to the playoffs and winning a championship."

Personally -- I think it is ridiculous to call any coach on it, as EVERY coach whines about officiating. If a team has a coach who isn't working the officials before, during and after games -- they don't have a very good coach.

I bought two photos from them last year - Mitchel's catch and Ringo's INT. They put everything in black and white except the photo's focus ... Ringo and Kirby jumping, and then Mitchel and the ball.

They have one from the SECCG where Carter is holding the QB up in the air. It's a cool concept.

That said, the one above is in poor taste, IMO. I think I need to get it.

Sounds like they used the photo without the original photographer's permission, so I'd get it while you can.

Hate to say it, but if the roles were reversed there would be plenty of Buckeye fans buying that shit.
"Fans" does stand for fanatic. I like the guys B&W/Color work, but not that one.

One of the problems with the NCG is that there really wasn't a defining moment. When you score a billion points, there isn't a moment that stood out that would make you spend $150 on a photo. I will probably buy that one of Carter holding up the LSU QB. Then again, I typically only get those from games I attended, and I didn't attend the SECCG.

Yeah that had to be such an unsatisfying game. Obviously getting the NC is awesome but it was so boring after the first quarter. That LSU game picture would be awesome though.

As a guy that paid a pretty penny to be in that stadium against TCU, that’s exactly the kind of game I wanted. My only gripe is I wanted 70 and we took the foot off the gas too early. That and the roof leaked and the polished concrete walkways were all slicker than two eels fucking in a bucket of snot

Yeah, we saw a number of people totally wiped out, bleeding, knocked out.

I wanted a relaxed game, and we sure enjoyed the blowout. High fives where going on around everyone, often. But, there is something to be said for a back and forth game like last year's NC game, or the tOSU game this year. But I am not going to complain about the blowout. It had some nice aspects to it.

People may disagree, but having the game in LA was fantastic. So much to do, the weather was great until Monday. Tons of bars and restaurants. Indy was just terrible for the NCG last year. Colder than a witches tit, limited bars and restaurants that were jammed full. LA was way better, IMO.

I never fell, but I definitely slipped a couple times, once while double fisting doubles. I saw a few bust their ass though.

If I go to a UGA game, it’s always a blowout. Only close game I’ve been to was in 2016 @ Kentucky.

We spent most of the trip in Vegas. Got to LA around noon on game day to attend that tailgate we paid 150 bucks apiece to get in, but was pretty cool. Braves first baseman, Matt Olson was there and hanging out, and drinks and food were free. I would have preferred the game to just been in Vegas, but it was worth going to LA once. A UGA NCG is probably the only thing that would get me to agree to go to LA
