Seems like OSU appraises the loss of Olave as worse that it probably is. Fleming may still not be ready. There’s no reason they should be be able to march up and down the field like their first drive!

I think Fields should come back next year, he’s gotta work on some stuff imo. Grrat player, great career and he isn’t getting much help this year but I think next season he would go #1 too

Some peculiar calls and non calls so far. No idea how Ohio State wasn’t called for jumping over the offensive line on the NW field goal. That is a penalty in college football and would have been a first down. If you are going to call grounding on a WR you call the leap imo.

Also thought it was a bit odd they didn’t review the incomplete pass. Looked like the OSU WR had possession and made a football move when he turned. Let that play continue and review it. That’s 6 at best takes the FG away from OSU and gives NW great field position at worst.

That was not PI but NW did get the int. Some real iffy calls and non calls so far.

NW played a damn good first half. Ohio State better figure something out.

Hey Big Ten. Isnt it great both of our conferences put our championship games ahead of any other conference games for the weekend? Conference championship game to be played on primetime Saturday night? NOPE! Let's play them at 5:30 on Friday night and 9 am on Saturday morning and let the rest of the conference games play the later games.
 
This 1st possession in the 2nd half is huge for both teams. OSU need to stop NW and score to regain momentum. Can't let the wildcats score here. For all of their fukkups in the 1st half, they are only down by 4 pts which is very manageable.
