If I have a sandwich, I bought it somewhere and it’s on whatever bread they offer it on. I don’t really make sandwiches at home. My daughters eat sandwiches for lunch sometimes, but they won’t eat the heels.

I'm a sucker for a gimmick, so I picked up a can of those that are supposedly "bourbon flavored". Haven't had the guts since to actually open and try them. Maybe I'll go in and open them and try one. I'll report before I do, and if you don't hear from me within a few minutes then I'm dead or hugging a toilet.

I've cut back on the bread these past few years, but nowadays when I want a sammich I'm using seeded Rye bread. If the diner is giving me a choice, I'll take toasted Rye every time.
