Hokie- something that is about to beat some Blue Devil ass in the ACC Championship and make Coach K cry

Impressive win Gobblers. Duke has one championship and now can get two. The only team who can do that in the ACC.

DUKE VS. VIRGINIA TECH
Saturday's game is the 63rd meeting between Duke and Virginia Tech, with the Blue Devils leading 51-11 … Duke has won four of the last five in the series … Coach K is 21-8 versus Virginia Tech … When the teams met at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 22, Paolo Banchero scored 23 points with seven rebounds, while Wendell Moore Jr., added 18 as Duke won its ACC opener, 76-65. Keve Aluma scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, while Justyn Mutts added 20 for the Hokies … A freshman has led Duke in scoring in each of the last six games against Virgina Tech, including Banchero's 23 in December and Jeremy Roach's career-high 22 points last season in Blacksburg on 6-of-14 shooting … Duke and Virginia Tech have met twice previously in the ACC Tournament -- with the Blue Devils winning 77-63 in the 2011 semifinals behind 27 points from Nolan Smith, and 60-56 in the 2012 quarterfinals behind 17 from Austin Rivers.

This Va Tech is basically a Wofford team from a few years ago. So weird...

Mike Young is really good. He's basically taking mid major level talent and winning big with it.

Jesus what an awful flop

not sure why, but i have a feeling that the Brooklyn experiment is coming to a close.

Brooklyn never made sense. The ACC only has 4 northern teams and none of them are particularly close to NYC.

Should be Greenville, SC. Heart of ACC country

Greensboro is the historic choice but Charlotte seems like the most logical because of the airport

ACC media seems to be more negative on Brooklyn than in 2017-2018. and i think we're about to see a lot of changes in the ACC. I work in the travel and tourism industry in Greensboro and the ACC moving to Charlotte is pretty much a done deal. Nobody here really cares as long as keep getting ACC tournaments.

The ACC women's final in Greensboro had an attendance of over 9,000(!)

just my gut feeling that Brooklyn is finished. Could be completely wrong. I think the original idea was to squeeze the Big East out of MSG, but when that didn't happen they thought Brooklyn would serve as a decent consolation. It just hasn't worked. Nobody cares and all eyes in NYC are fixated on the Big East. The experiment has failed and I think the ACC is going to focus on Greensboro, Charlotte and DC now. Just a hunch.

if that area was only a tad bit bigger then i wouldn't be against that. tbh, the ACC's opposition to going back to Atlanta has always been weird. Lots of people argue that the 80s was the ACC's peak and during that time the ACCT rotation consisted of Greensboro, DC and Atlanta
