Tournament Thread - ACC Tournament

God damnit. I don't like Duke but this fucking sucks.
 
That sucks. Wonder how much more of this is gonna happen when actually get to ncaa tournament

The positive test was definitely a plant by Coach K. Just didn't want to see his team miss the real tourney. Now he can always say, "well, you never know. we may have made it had it not been for that covid test".

Well all things considered December and January was a shit show as far as Covid was concerned. That was pretty much the peak of it. I do think there was some validity to wanting to push the season back to have the tournament in May instead of March.

I agree. It makes even more sense when you see the direction society is headed in now (in regards to vaccinations and COVID rates)
 
Best scenario ever. Positive Covid test, winning season still intact, finish the season with a win. Besides FSU would have beaten Duke by 30. This way we cannot get embarrassed by a UMBC like Virginia. LOL

Duke was the only team that didn't participate in the ACC bubble

in fairness to Duke and K, Syracuse is in the bubble and it's highly likely that Duke thought they were protecting their players from the disease that is known as New York. It just didn't work out. Sucks for everyone involved
 
UVa has to stop settling for 3's. Shot 19% in the 1st half from 3 vs 10-13 from everywhere else.
