The officiating was awful in the first half man. It just was . Still a good win by you guys. Stating the obvious about the reffing wasn't meant as a slight. I'm not being a homer when I state Illinois "stylr" of play won't be conducive to a long stay in the big tourney . It's just historical facf . You can call it "physical " play all you want. What other leagues refs call it is fouling. S16 max for Illinois . I'm not trying to disrespect Illinois . I like Illinois. And I'm not a " boo hoo we lost cuz refs" guy either. I'd wager I've never once complained about that stuff on here.
But today was brutal to watch . Handchecking the guards, 2 hands on the post numerous times, hacked while shooting numerous times. And a that would've been fine if it was called that way on both ends ( and it was in the second half mostly). Just not in the first. The irony is SJ is the one who cries about the refs when his team loses but then gets upset when I point on obvious shit. It's whatever to me. I'm not the fan of the team who needs to worry about a game being called properly lol
