he had a visit to Wake that was cancelled

apparently, the kid was claiming to be a grad transfer but he's not scheduled to graduate in May...so he's not a grad transfer. Wake people are claiming that the reason why the visit was cancelled is because he wouldn't be academically eligible at Wake b/c he wouldn't have enough credits.

He's a good player for sure, and it is a good pickup, and good on him for getting it, I'm all for it, but that's a lot of money for someone who's likely not going to get drafted, after two years. Hell, he's gonna make more than some guys who got NBA run this year. Lol.

Right now people are clearly overpaying for guys in football and basketball. That will correct itself because not everyone is going to get the ROI that they’re hoping for

this probably means Williamson is gone, which might be for the best. You can't play this dude major minutes while also giving Williamson the minutes he has earned. The backcourt would be too small.

and tbh, if they can't replace Manek's production, that is going to be a big loss. He was their only consistent shooter last year.

Bacot is great, Davis is decent and Love is erratic. Puff Johnson could be an X factor.

UNC is going to be a pre-season top 5 team easily, but they could disappoint. I'm in wait and see mode with them.

Oh yea, I mean they're a soft #1, but I don't know who else you put there.

Maybe Arkansas, which doesn't look much better.

went 4 for 20 against Illinois

if he shoots that bad against a team from a mid major conference, i'm not sure how well he would do against high major competition
