Do I book the “mystery car”?

It says it may be an EV! That would be a delightful surprise, having to plan how the fuck to coordinate charging an EV on vacation! Do you need to bring them back “fully charged”?

Those are good questions. Be sure to ask them.

For me, it would be a matter of how much you plan to drive the car. If I'm just driving around the city I'm in, it might be better to have an EV if I didn't have to be concerned with charging it. Driving long distances out of town, I want a regular car. And if they are going to charge you $3 per kilowatt second for bringing it back not fully charged, hell no.

Oh, we driving.

I’m still trying to decide if I want to go through the hassle of getting my own Sunpass or just say fuck it and pay the rental company $13 a day for them to do it, even though I’ll probably be using like $13 worth of tolls total for the whole trip.
