I'll be fine, it was just wild to have my phone go off with an emergency alert, then have it be for a tsunami.
It turns out there was a 7.0 quake off the Humboldt coast, and the tsunami alert was sent out to people all up and down the Northern and Central California coast, including the Bay Area.

Even stranger than the tsunami alert, at least to me, was the onslaught of notifications it had been cancelled.
The initial alert was pretty unsettling, in all honesty - very "wtf!!!" - but the, in essence, "ok, yeah, nothing to worry about, after all," made me almost wonder if the whole thing really even happened.

But that reminds me of the awful game from 2012, when Tennessee played at Vandy. I had seats by a Vandy fan who yelled "buuuuutt chuuuggeeeers!" the whole game. I'm not exaggerating when I say he yelled that for the entire length of the game.
