tReal Official Night Shift v68, because I can and you better love it, Mfers.

We've got one of those. I hardly even see her in the office, she takes forever to answer an email, and nobody seems to find her all that competent. And she's the VP of the department.

I've been here almost 10 years, and she's the 5th VP of HR I've worked with. Some jobs are just cursed.
Yea, she was the Director / VP. Our previous one was here for like 25 years, but retired and took her buyout.

This new lady never answered any emails, never showed up to anything, but she made sure to hire a third person for the department (this place is small and had run on 2 HR people since inception). She of course made her calendar public, so you could see all her hair and nail appointments and stuff to do with her kids.

The first one when I started had been here about 30 years, retired right when I started.

The next one lasted about 2 years and left to become HR director at a college, so his kids could get free schoolin'. I don't hate him for that.

The next one was a complete fraud nepo-hire. We found out that one of the execs here at the time helped him doctor his resume to look like he had more experience. I don't know how they knew each other but he was ill-equipped. Lasted less than a year before people found out he had no clue. I'm sure he puts his experience here on his current CV to show how he was a bigshot VP at a large agency.

The next one was good, I liked him a lot but he rubbed the former CEO the wrong way. They had a falling out and the CEO basically rage-fired him. Lasted about 3-4 years. Would probably still be here if he had made it past the CEO's retirement date, but Covid messed all that up.

Current lady is in her second year and does not have a lot of fans.

Today is the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Payday. No fucking time cards, no HR or any of that bullshit. All I have to do is wake up in the morning, which to my happiness, I did. Till y'all get there, have fun in your 9-5 corporate world bullshit.

It’s a job where all you do is gossip and lose paperwork… those aren’t male job skills.

LOL @ the poor idiot employees who think Hormone Resources is there to help and protect them if they have a problem with their management or the company.

I pity the fools. HR is there to protect the company, not you.

The Rams and Vikings might have to play in Arizona's stadium if the California fire situation is still too bad on Monday.
