Antiquated equipment falls to Congresses’ repeated failures to fund enhancements over the years. Staffing shortages fall to Trump/DOGE who fired air traffic controllers already on staff. Overall, the federal government has been and still is failing their responsibility for safe and effective air traffic control.
 
Most of my shirts have one pocket. A few have two. Heck, even a couple of my t-shirts have pockets.

This part didn’t happen. They were initially offered the buyouts but then designated as exempt. It was administrative/support roles in the FAA that were canned.
